Features: To better adapt to the continuous reform and development of teaching materials, as well as to meet the varying needs of basic education in southern and northern regions, major education provinces, and underdeveloped central and western areas, we established a research team in August 2002. After more than a year of research, design, and planning, we formulated the initial framework of the Middle and Primary School Classroom Knowledge Handbook series. Principals, teachers from universities such as Beijing Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Shandong Normal University, Tianjin Normal University, Anhui Normal University, and Qufu Normal University, as well as some schools affiliated to these universities, along with educators from Beijing Haidian Teachers College, Huanggang High School, Qidong High School, Hefei High School, Tongling High School, and Shanxi Kangjie High School, contributed significantly to the writing of the series.
We believe that implementing key knowledge points holds more promise than simply adhering to textbook chapters. Based on the understanding that regardless of the variety or version of textbooks, teaching outlines and standards, key knowledge points and structural modules remain relatively fixed, the series adopts an editorial approach that balances depth and breadth in subjects, appropriately enhances learning, and fully interprets the new curriculum standards and teaching outlines. Additionally, we referred to several influential textbooks published by the Ministry of Education to analyze the connotations of subject concepts, expand and extend their extensions, point out difficult and easily mistaken points, and emphasize the horizontal and vertical integration of knowledge content. We also strive to appropriately summarize hot topics and related knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner.
The series features fresh material, profound insights, and a strong emphasis on practical skills. It focuses on testing innovative abilities and exhibits both openness and exploratory characteristics, making it an excellent tool for students' learning and also serving as a reference for teachers' instruction.
