Huanggang materials are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! Authenticated by Huanggang High School, this is the first public release of its internal workbook! Warm-up before class, assignments during class; homework after class, middle school exams online! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was designated as a key high school in Hubei in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "people-centered, virtue-based education" and has developed a distinctive approach to nurturing students with "comprehensive strengths." It has pioneered a teaching style characterized by "seeking truth, refinement, originality, and innovation." Its outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is a natural outcome of its long-term implementation of quality education, though it is only one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements.
When people ask, "What magic formula does Huanggang High School use to cultivate students? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What skill does it possess to turn stone into gold?"—these are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and grasp their underlying principles, making it a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly encourages students to rise above it. It rejects mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious tasks for students but insists on assigning essential ones. We advocate assigning flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing students to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through problem-solving.
If there is anything else that Huanggang High School has achieved success in, it is that while cultivating and shaping a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged a team of renowned teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess deep scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic flair, and remarkable teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School's teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized and carefully planned the writing of three series: Huanggang High School Workbook, Huanggang High School Exam Papers, and Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam Training Materials (First and Second Rounds).
The Huanggang High School Workbook series is based on the Teaching Syllabus and Exam Syllabus, emphasizing the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning, problem-solving, and exam-taking abilities. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' exceptional performance in exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed format, including four key sections: "Warm-up Before Class," "Assignments During Class," "Homework After Class," and "Middle (Senior) High School Exam Online," which provide intensive training to improve students' abilities. It also has the following features:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are arranged to reinforce and progressively enhance the knowledge points, exam topics, question types, and methods. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive, ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive exercises.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions is 6:3:1, suitable for the majority of middle schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate difficulty levels, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are well-balanced, with detailed solutions provided for difficult questions. Notably, the insightful hints often play a pivotal role in guiding students.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a standout in the educational materials market.
