China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was an extremely important part of the World War II against Fascism. China was the earliest country to resist the world's Fascist invaders, the longest in duration, suffered the most severe sacrifices, and incurred the greatest losses. China's War of Resistance was not only a just anti-invasion war fought by the Chinese people to safeguard national sovereignty and ethnic dignity but also provided strong support to the European and Pacific theaters. It completely disrupted Japan's militarist ambitions to dominate the world. More importantly, through immense national sacrifices, the Chinese people firmly tied nearly 70% of Japan's Fascist forces to the Chinese battlefield, preventing them from reinforcing the Far East and Pacific regions and significantly easing the pressure on Allied forces. The Chinese battlefield became the main theater of the Eastern Front, making a great contribution to the World War II against Fascism.
