Educational Experimentation Science

Book Description:
Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Party Congress, China's education sector and educational scientific research have shown a thriving scene, breaking the previous stagnation. Educational research has produced abundant results, driving the development of educational science. This is undeniable. However, it must also be recognized that the outcomes of educational research still fail to fully meet the needs of educational development. The theories of education lag behind actual educational reforms, and research methods often rely on textbook problems and conceptual arguments rather than large-scale investigations and systematic summaries of experience. Educational measurement and statistical methods have not been effectively utilized. In recent years, many schools have carried out educational experimental activities, which is a welcome phenomenon. Yet, many experimental workers lack knowledge of scientific experimentation, and some educational experiments lack scientific rigor in their methodology. However, this cannot be blamed on educational experimental workers, as higher normal colleges have yet to offer specialized courses on educational experiments. Even graduates from educational departments are often lacking in such knowledge, and it is difficult to find books dedicated to educational experiments. The few books published before liberation on the topic are extremely simplistic and outdated, unable to address the complex issues of multifactorial holistic reform experiments in modern educational research.
Given these circumstances, I have decided to use Marxism and Thought as guidance to summarize the fundamental theories and new experiences and methods of educational experiments domestically and internationally. Organized by classifying educational experiments into single-factor, double-factor, and multi-factor categories and by the process of educational experimental activities, this book employs measurement theory, statistics, especially multivariate statistics, to compile "Educational Experimentation." The goal is to play a positive role in the scientific development of educational experiments and contribute to the advancement of both educational experimentation and educational science.
