4. To ensure that the listening speeds meet the syllabus requirements for each proficiency level, the training speeds in the textbook are slightly higher than those specified in the syllabus, but the speeds for quizzes and review tests generally align with the syllabus standards.
5. The textbook offers a rich variety of exercise types, including new question formats from the National College English Tests (CET), aiming to train and improve students' listening comprehension from multiple perspectives.
6. The revised edition includes an oral practice section, allowing students to engage in basic speaking skill training under the guidance of the teacher, using the language and content provided in the textbook.
7. The textbook content strives to be fresh, lively, and engaging, while retaining and adjusting well-performing passages and gradually incorporating content that reflects the latest information. The language used is realistic, vivid, and standardized.
This book is the Teacher's Book for the revised edition of the listening textbook. It consists of 20 lessons and is designed for College English teachers. Each unit covers one major listening skill, followed by a quiz. After the 20 lessons, a comprehensive review test is provided, covering all listening skills in the textbook and serving as a mock exam for the first-level listening test. The quizzes and review questions can be used to assess students' learning progress and contribute to their regular grades.
