Features: Red-haired Carla has a new hobby: dancing! Ever since Carla recently saw a breakdancing master in the city, she has become obsessed with dancing. She suddenly decides to perform on the school celebration day with her best friends, and announces this decision to the whole class. This is quite a tricky situation; her friends are completely in the dark, and Carla must first convince them to perform. Typical Carla style! This is a new, exciting story from the Carla and the Awesome Girls Club. Carla, the confident and energetic red-haired girl, is in for another busy time: to give her mother a break, Carla must take her three-month-old baby brother out for a walk. But at the same time, Carla is still thinking about preparing for the school dance: she wants to appear at the school dance with her friends. However, there's one more thing to sort out—her friends, who know nothing about it, must first believe her grand plan. She is in deep trouble, but Carla never has trouble finding good ideas. As the only girl in the class, this clever red-haired girl even knows a helpful boy who is willing to be a temporary babysitter for her. This gives Carla plenty of time to form a sharp group with her friends: the Gum Chewing Kids!! It is a story with significant plot twists and full of humor and wit, with many scenes that will never make you feel bored. The vivid color illustrations are accurately positioned, better interpreting the development of the story.
