Features: Taishan Stone Inscription, also known as the "Seal of Mount Tai Stele," was erected in the 28th year of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's reign (219 BC) when he ascended Mount Tai. It was inscribed by Li Si, the Prime Minister, to praise the emperor. The calligraphy is round and vigorous, meticulous and well-executed, representing the pinnacle of Qin dynasty seal script.
The Lantai Terrace Stone Inscription was originally located in Zucheng, Shandong, and was erected in the 28th year of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's reign. It is believed to have been written by Li Si. The calligraphy is bold and round. Yang Shoujing commented on this stone: [The traces of the Qin dynasty are only this magnificent. Although heavily eroded, its ancient and profound charm remains, truly a divine masterpiece.]
These two stone inscriptions are combined into one volume, using high-quality old rubbings for reproduction, making it more convenient for calligraphy enthusiasts to practice.
