Features: With the rapid development of broadcasting technology, we have ushered in the era of digital broadcasting. Currently, some central and provincial radio stations have already achieved digitalization, while others are in the process of doing so. A considerable number of prefecture-level and municipal radio stations are also gradually moving towards digitalization. The main characteristics of digital broadcasting are the use of computer and network technology, which have brought a qualitative leap in production, transmission, and broadcasting, significantly improving technical quality while reducing production costs. In terms of production, it is intuitive, convenient, and fast, allowing for resource sharing. In transmission and broadcasting, signal quality has greatly improved, human intervention has been reduced, and automated broadcasting has been achieved. In analog technology, the methods for circuit analysis and fault handling are familiar to those of us who have long been engaged in broadcasting. However, in digital systems, there is a stronger emphasis on systematization, and the methods for fault judgment and handling have undergone significant changes, with entirely different approaches. This requires practitioners to quickly master computer and network technology, understand the entire process of broadcasting signal processing, transformation, transmission, and reproduction, and grasp the working principles and technical characteristics of digital broadcasting equipment. Only in this way can we better embrace the arrival and challenges of the digital era, which is also the purpose of writing this book.
