Features: Huanggang materials are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! The first official publication of Huanggang High School's internal workbook, authorized exclusively by Huanggang High School! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was designated as a key high school in Hubei Province in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive educational feature of "comprehensive development + special talents" and exploring a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation." The outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality education, and only one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements.
When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang High School use? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What ability does it possess to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of the college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and deeply grasp the underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly advocates that students break free from it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to engage in flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is anything else that Huanggang High School has achieved success in, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and remarkable teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School's teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized and meticulously planned the writing of three series of books: "Huanggang High School Workbook," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Materials."
The "Huanggang High School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and exam-taking abilities. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' brilliant performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed format, including four major sections: "Pre-Class Warm-up," "In-Class Homework," "After-Class Homework," and "Middle (Senior) High School Exam Online," which provide intensive training to improve students' abilities. It also has the following features:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are arranged to reinforce and progressively enhance the key points, types of questions, and methods associated with each topic. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive exercises in ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive formats.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions in this series is 6:3:1, making it suitable for the use of most middle schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate their difficulty level, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough solutions provided for difficult questions. It is worth mentioning that the insightful hints sometimes play a pivotal role in guiding students.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
