Features: Mi Fu (1051-1107), a Northern Song Dynasty painter and calligrapher. His courtesy name was Yuanzhang, and his sobriquets included Xiangyang Manshi and Haiye Wai Shi. He was originally from Taiyuan and later moved to Xiangyang, eventually settling in Runzhou (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu). Emperor Huizong of Song appointed him as a doctoral scholar in painting and calligraphy. Due to his eccentric behavior, he was known as "Mi Dian." He was skilled in poetry and prose, painting, and calligraphy, as well as art appreciation. His running and cursive calligraphy was influenced by Wang Xianzhi, with bold and dynamic brushwork, earning the praise "like a wind-sailed warhorse, profound and forceful." He was known as one of the "Four Great Calligraphers of the Song Dynasty" alongside Cai Xiang, Su Shi, and Huang Tingjian.
