Features: The entries listed in this book are famous quotes or passages from classics, treatises, histories, poems, dictionaries, or novels that were later referenced by others without. Unlike general collections of famous aphorisms or quoted sentences, this book includes entries based on whether they have been referenced, regardless of whether they are aphorisms, famous quotes, or not. Each entry generally includes the following content: annotations for difficult terms; translation and explanation of the entry; usage notes; references and authors of the entry's origin; and special reminders for the entry. Entries with simple and popular language are not annotated or explained. Examples are arranged roughly in chronological order. Different meanings are illustrated separately. Main entries are arranged in the order of Pinyin letters of Chinese characters. Entries with the same first character are arranged by the second character's Pinyin. Entries with the same sound but different shapes are arranged by the number of strokes. An "Index of Pinyin for Entry First Characters" and an "Index of Strokes for Entries" are provided at the beginning for easy reference.
