Features: The Central Conservatory of Music External Music Examination has been initiated since 1988. The cello examination started in 1992 and has been in place for 12 years, playing a positive role in promoting and improving cello teaching in China. While keeping the original two sets of examination repertoire for each level from Level to Level 8 unchanged, the teaching materials have been expanded by adding a third set of repertoire. Level 9 retains the original four sets of repertoire. The Performance Diploma level includes three sets of repertoire. From Level 3 to the Performance Diploma level, each level features large-scale works (sonatas, concertos, suites). To facilitate teaching, the examination textbooks published this time include all movements of multi-movement works, with the examination movements clearly marked. In regular teaching, students should study the entire content of each piece to enhance their musical knowledge and cultivation. During examinations, only the designated movements are performed.
