Features: A pearl of human thought. The real GDP level of China has been greatly overestimated. Everyone must maintain a clear mind and enhance awareness of potential risks. GDP is an important barometer for assessing a country's status and economic prosperity, and its growth should never be underestimated. However, GDP does not provide a complete and truthful picture of social welfare, as it does not account for environmental degradation, nor can it measure a nation's total wealth. It cannot reflect social indicators such as how the national income is distributed among laborers, nor can it show realities like rapid economic growth with slow social development, or fast urban growth with slow rural development. We must discard the narrow "GDP obsession" and avoid promoting and using "GDP officials" who pursue short-term actions and false achievements. After reading Perspectives, one learns to agree with differing opinions.
