Features: Humorous stories are a type of short story with satire as its primary artistic feature, possessing strong comedic elements. In the vast garden of folk literature, they stand out like a colorful and fragrant flower, deeply loved by people. To meet the reading needs of young readers for humorous stories, the editors have carefully selected suitable parts from the vast collection of humorous stories from ancient and modern China and abroad, and rewritten them in simple and easy-to-understand language. These stories are rich in content and diverse in form, but no matter how varied the stories may be, laughter and humor remain their soul. A piece of interesting incident, a snippet, or even a witty remark can all form a hilarious humorous story. Through these stories, young readers receive subtle education, understanding what is true, good, and beautiful, and learning to discern what is false, evil, and ugly. To facilitate young readers in reading, appreciating, and better understanding the profound meaning of humorous stories, we have included aphoristic wisdom sections after each story to help them grasp the deeper lessons. To meet the multi-faceted aesthetic needs and preferences of young readers, we have also paired the stories with exquisite cartoon illustrations. Through the illustrations, the stories become more vivid, realistic, and exciting. We hope that this carefully compiled series, "Little Humor, Big Wisdom," will accompany children through a childhood filled with laughter and joy, and wish them a healthy growth in happiness!
