Features: This book is organized into two parts: the theoretical part and the case study part. The new work uses facts to speak and reason to persuade, offering profound insights and significant benefits upon reading. The theoretical part is further divided into several levels, including culture in the context of international politics and the mutual relationship between culture and international politics, the role of culture in international conflicts and cooperation, the role of culture in international mechanisms and norms, the impact of media on international politics, and the role of culture in the process of globalization. In the case study part, the authors have selected some important and representative examples for analysis. From the perspective of international political culture, this collection innovatively explores some theoretical issues in international politics, such as the influence of culture on state power. In the chapter on the impact of culture on state power, the authors analyze the social integration function of culture, its influence on national cohesion and political stability, the role of political culture in national identity and political legitimacy, as well as the impact of cultural change on national development and modernization. Although the authors explicitly state that culture is a significant factor influencing international politics and emphasize the role of cultural factors in international politics and international relations, they are well aware that highlighting the importance of cultural factors does not negate the roles of economic, political, and military factors. In their analysis of each chapter, the authors not only focus on the influence of cultural factors on international politics but also emphasize the importance of political, economic, military, and technological factors, all of which are significant variables affecting international politics. Cultural factors interact with these other factors to exert their influence. This understanding aligns with the theoretical requirements of international politics and international relations and represents a unique, historical materialist analytical approach.
