Unlike the academic articles included in other volumes, the articles selected for this issue include the following: 1. Articles written by Wang Meng's family members; 2. Recollections and impression pieces by Wang Meng's close associates and fellow writers; 3. Reports and special articles written by the author, including contributions from Wang Meng's secretary; 4. Interviews with Wang Meng. Most of these articles were published in the first half of the 20th century, with the exception of a few that appeared in the 1980s, and are scattered across books, periodicals, and the internet. Among them, there are also works by Shao Feng that are formally published for the first time. Based on the above classification, the editor has arranged the articles roughly in chronological order of their publication.
