Features: Most women experience physical weakness after childbirth and should avoid cold foods. Raw foods may contain bacteria, parasites, etc. Postpartum women have lower resistance and are more susceptible to infections compared to usual. Consume less cold food to prevent stimulating the gastrointestinal tract. Avoid excessive intake of cold foods according to traditional Chinese medicine, such as watermelon and river crabs, as they may easily cause abdominal pain or headaches. Red ginseng and motherwort, which promote blood circulation according to traditional Chinese medicine, should generally not be consumed excessively or too early postpartum unless there is poor blood flow, slow uterine contractions accompanied by lower abdominal pain, to prevent excessive postpartum bleeding.
