Features: On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World War II against Fascism, we have specially compiled and published this commemorative series. The series features a mix of Chinese and foreign writers, primarily focusing on medium-length novels, supplemented by a few longer short stories. It artistically recreates the magnificent scenes of the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, fighting bravely against Japanese invaders more than 60 years ago, as well as the global people rising up to resist the atrocities of fascist warfare. At the same time, it truthfully and vividly exposes the brutal and inhumane cruelty of the fascists, as well as the immense disasters brought to the Chinese people and people of all countries by that war. Justice will ultimately prevail over evil. Sixty years have passed since that dark page in human history. As peace and development have become the two major themes of the world's current progress, we should still learn from history, look toward the future, and tirelessly strive for world peace and human development, as well as for building a fairer and more rational new international political and economic order. This is also the original intention behind compiling and publishing this series. You Fengwei's Life Channel is China's version of "Schindler's List" during World War II: Japanese army doctor Takada and the "collaborator army doctor" Su Yuan, both secretly implementing an unknown "Life Channel" plan to rescue Chinese lives under Japanese gunfire. Though their endings differ, their humanitarian spirit in saving lives is. The plot is intricate, vivid, and legendary, making it a superior work in the genre of China's anti-fascist themes. You Fengwei laments that, to this day, no Chinese work on the war against Japanese aggression can rival Western counterparts in World War II. His series of war-themed works, such as May River Battle, are also deeply loved by readers.
