Features: "Practical English for Tourism" was commissioned by the China National Tourism Administration and written as a trial teaching material for secondary vocational tourism schools. The book consists of three volumes in total. This is the third volume, containing 16 units. Each unit includes two texts: Text A, which primarily features articles related to tourism services, and Text B, which consists of situational dialogues related to tourism services. After each text, there are grammar and complex sentence annotations, various types of exercises, and a reading material similar in style and difficulty to Text A. The grammar focus of this book includes the use of relative clauses, nominal clauses, non-finite verbs, and subjunctive mood. At the end of the book, there is a glossary, a list of commonly used terms related to tourism services, and a comparative table of tourism vocabulary in English and American English. This set of teaching materials was reviewed by Associate Professor Dai Zongxian of Beijing Second Foreign Languages University. This book can also serve as a basic textbook for various tourism English training programs.
