Features: "Organic Chemistry" (Volume 1) can be used as a textbook for chemistry majors in normal universities, or selected by related majors. This book is revised based on the teaching practice of the third edition, through exchanges and revisions among multiple schools. It maintains the original features and basic framework, refines the content, and selects materials that are closer to society and daily life, while introducing new achievements and developments in organic chemistry. The book is still divided into three parts—hydrocarbons, derivatives of hydrocarbons, and special topics—narrated in a functional group system, published in two volumes. Volume 1 contains 11 chapters, mainly discussing the classification, nomenclature, properties, and important reactions of various organic compounds, as well as enantiomerism and the application of modern physical experimental methods in organic chemistry. Volume 2 also contains 11 chapters, mainly discussing the classification, nomenclature, properties, and important reactions of various derivatives of hydrocarbons, as well as natural products. Each chapter includes problems and exercises, and a reference list is provided at the end of the book. This book can be used as a textbook for chemistry majors in normal universities or selected by related majors.
