Features: Knocking on the door of a building is like opening a heavy history. No. 5 Garden Street, this Russian-style building, is one of the top residential homes in the city. The various prominent families who have lived in it over the years have given this mansion in the birch forest a mysterious aura. Due to the extraordinary status and immense power of its residents, their ups and downs in fate, and the joys and sorrows of their lives, have also influenced the rise and fall, the vicissitudes, and the changes of the city. Therefore, the history of this house is also a witness to the survival and development of the city. In the last century, all the legendary stories that took place in this house were related to the families here, some with political power, some with economic wealth, some with distinguished reputation, and some with strong social backgrounds, who collided, competed, conflicted, and even fought against each other. They represented either an era or a class. The defeated could not be content, and the victors could not be at ease. The achievers coveted more, and the losers dreamed of turning over their lives. The dark clouds and fierce storms were the entire page turned over. Although some were full of desires, even evil, at the same time, others were overflowing with sensibility and harboring kindness, under the same roof, generation after generation, there were both children of hatred and bloodshed, and lovers entangled in love and grievances. The heroic spirit is short, but the affection for children is long. The years pass like water, and the years are like dreams. Those poetic scenes are deeply missed. The love of red and black, the emotion of tears and fire, the bitter and sweet memories, the fusion of tenderness and strength, the musical rhythm of the picture, makes one lose themselves in it. Now, under the reform tide and amidst the storms of the times, this building under the bright sunshine is also continuously rewriting a new history.
