Given the various questions frequently raised by patients in clinical practice, I deeply felt the need for an accessible popular science book on the topic. Therefore, I happily organized my colleagues in the department to collect over 400 questions, categorizing them by anatomy, physiology, diagnosis, treatment, and other aspects, and providing in-depth yet easy-to-understand answers. It is hoped that after reading this book, readers will gain a comprehensive understanding of cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, as well as the etiology, pathology, or related common diseases in the diagnosis and treatment of biliary inflammation and biliary calculi, including their onset, evolution, clinical manifestations, preventive and therapeutic methods, and key points of prevention. This will help improve communication and cooperation between doctors and patients.
