Features: The book mainly consists of content on two-dimensional thermal explosion, hot spot ignition, shock wave ignition, and laser ignition, divided into 10 chapters. It proposes mathematical models for one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional thermal explosions, and presents numerical calculation methods for solving the steady-state Hefei stability platform problem of typical shape two-dimensional thermal explosions. It introduces the critical temperatures, delay periods, and temperature histories of several explosives during thermal explosions. It discusses the criticality of single-reaction systems and parallel heat release systems, comparing them with experimental values. A one-dimensional cylindrical model for electric wire ignition in confined spaces is established, with critical and transition values calculated. A new method for evaluating the shock wave ignition sensitivity of medium-sensitivity or insensitive ignition propellants, salt propellants, and delay explosives is developed, and the shock wave ignition thresholds and corresponding ignition delays of loose black powder and pressed B/KNO3 are studied. A laser diode ignition test setup and testing system are established, analyzing the effects of factors such as the particle size, density, composition, laser wavelength, intensity, and confinement conditions of energetic materials on ignition.
