To improve medical students' professional English proficiency, the authors boldly experimented with the writing process. Relevant English vocabulary in each chapter is marked with both Chinese and English upon first appearance, and subsequently used directly in the text in English, allowing students to learn professional English while reading. The book also includes a read-only CD-ROM with the English originals of each chapter, further aiding students in mastering professional English.
For the convenience of students in referencing related books, a list of major reference books is provided at the end of the book. All professional terms in this book are written according to national standards, and drug names follow the national pharmacopoeia regulations. To aid in comprehension, currently used commercial names are also noted after standardized drug names.
