Features: As a perfect book, only a combination of a well-formed structure and substantial content can be considered beautiful. The primary role of a book lies in its content, but this content must rely on a certain material form to be expressed. Both the content and form of a book reflect the living conditions and ideology of a specific social period. Social practices determine the content and form of books, while they, in turn, become beneficial factors in promoting social progress and development. The development of society gives rise to new content and new forms of books. The two are interdependent and mutually reinforcing in a dialectical relationship. Based on the role of books in human society, the focus of the book content research section should be placed on the types of book writing. Through the analysis of various writing types such as original compositions, translations, compilations, and annotations, books are classified according to their nature to reveal the characteristics of different types of books, enabling them to function fully in circulation, collection, organization, and preservation. The purpose of this research section is to reveal the developmental patterns of book content changes and objectively reflect the historical landscape.
