Features: Clinical medicine is a highly practical discipline, and the learning process must combine theory with practice. The training of a clinical physician is a long-term process with its inherent principles. During the growth of a clinical physician, the Chief Resident stage is a very important phase—it is typically a mandatory stage that low-level doctors must go through to gradually advance to higher-level positions. In medical practice, the accumulation of clinical experience is extremely important. A doctor, especially a young one, has limited experience and cannot accumulate a large amount of clinical experience in a short time. Therefore, young doctors must not only "grind through" daily clinical work and practice directly to train themselves but also learn from the experiences of predecessors (indirect practice) and verify them in clinical practice, continuously improving their clinical knowledge and skills. This book is divided into five parts. The first three parts, consisting of 22 chapters, introduce the basic knowledge of non-invasive and invasive cardiac examinations and the clinical treatment of cardiovascular diseases, covering some new technologies applied in recent years and some laboratory examination items for easy reference. The main focus of the fourth part is electrocardiogram information, cardiovascular imaging, echocardiography, phonocardiography, tilt table tests, and routine and biochemical examinations commonly used in cardiology; the second part introduces various traumatic cardiac catheterization procedures; and the third part provides standardized treatment recommendations for common diseases in cardiology. In the fourth and fifth parts of this book, some self-assessment questions and answers from domestic and international textbooks have been selected. This arrangement is intended to advocate a learning method that combines theory with practice, aiming to train and improve the clinical thinking and judgment skills of young physicians, making the Chief Resident training process more complete. Additionally, these test questions are also suitable for clinical mentors to train and enhance the clinical skills of graduate students.
