Features: This is a truly fascinating book. It consists of simple and basic shapes, everyday objects, yet with just a few strokes, it brings forth such rich things and illustrations. It's quite remarkable. If you stand in the place of children with enthusiasm, you'll surely feel surprised and excited. Children will say, "Wow, I can draw too!" Because every shape and object in the book is just the beginning of the imagination; it's impossible to complete it. What follows this imaginative start should be the children's own imagination, their flight and landing of thoughts. Thus, we might be surprised and excited to see their creations that follow—both their reasonable creations and their illogical scribbles. But as long as that scribbling comes from their passion and effort, from rising inspiration and soaring, then the existence and logic of it become undeniable. Because for the excellence of an individual, the leadership of a nation, and the perfection of the world, the enduring passion for imagination and the myriad inspirations that reach us are the first things. Outstanding personal stories begin this way, and great human progress is also driven by this.
This is not just a book about painting. It is a holistic nurturing for the child reading it. Nurturing enthusiasm and eagerness, nurturing spatial awareness and unexpected twists, nurturing observation and reproduction of impressions, nurturing color recognition and aesthetic reconstruction, nurturing an endless thirst for thinking, and at the same time, nurturing the initial knowledge of the philosophy of endless things. There is much more nurturing waiting to be seen in the expressions and spirits of children who are eager to read and imagine.
In our childhood, we didn't have such reading, no such imaginative guidance, no such joy in imagination that was awakened by guidance. So, it's a real pity, something that can never be made up for. That's why I recommend this kind of reading and joyful imagination—to let children be satisfied with this opportunity, to start a new path of, and to avoid unnecessary regrets and memories in the future. This is my heartfelt intention!
