For thousands of years, emperors have enjoyed the majesty of ruling the world. But behind this, the fields were filled with slain, blood flowed like floating pestles, and the spirits of the talented lingered, while the souls of beautiful women wept and flew.
This book collects a large number of precious and rare images, taking us from the "back door" of Chinese history into the "bedrooms" of emperors to take a peek at their "private lives." The golden palace steps, the crimson bed curtains, and the stunningly beautiful concubines, when the sharp brush strokes pierce through the golden veil of the imperial harem, we realize that there are so many mysteries and secrets in the emperors' harems.
The purpose of this book is not only to trace the history of China for thousands of years, but also to reveal the cruelty and indifference of imperial power, nor to savor the "refined charm" of the passionate affairs of emperors and ministers. It merely hopes to tear away the veil of the little-known "private lives" of Chinese emperors, adding a touch of truth and fairness to Chinese history. 79353
