New management ideas, theories, and methods have emerged. To reflect these new developments in business management, we have compiled this dictionary. It not only reflects the existing knowledge and experience in management but also incorporates new content from recent advancements in business management. It is a comprehensive and practical reference book for business management, rich in content, up-to-date, and highly applicable. It meets the needs of economic workers, business managers, university faculty and students, as well as other theoretical and practical researchers engaged in business management learning, research, and practice.
It can be said that under the current circumstances of highly active thoughts, rapid changes in academic perspectives, and extremely busy work schedules, it was quite challenging to organize many experts and scholars to compile this dictionary. However, to meet the readers' needs, to flourish economic science, and especially to promote the development of the business management discipline, after multiple studies, the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Economic Science Press still made the decision to compile and publish this dictionary.
This dictionary is edited by Professor Chen Jiagui, a renowned economist and Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as the chief editor. Editorial committee members include representatives from the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Economic Science Press, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, and Capital University of Economics and Business. The Management Research Office of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is responsible for the overall compilation and coordination of the entire dictionary.
The Comprehensive Dictionary of Business Management is divided into eleven parts: Part "Enterprise," Part "Business Management Theory," Part "Business Strategy, Planning, and Decision-Making," Part "Business Organization," Part "Labor and Personnel Management," Part "Business Finance," Part "Business Marketing," Part "Business Production Management," Part "Business Quality Management," Part "Business Research and Development," and Part "Business Management Methods."
