Features: As a work on the philosophy of science, this book is the result of my nearly 20 years of research in Western philosophy of science. Although many books have been published in this field both domestically and internationally, I still believe this book has its own unique features: 1. The basic content of this work is a comprehensive and integrated summary of the fundamental ideas and viewpoints of various schools of Western philosophy of science, from Comte's positivism to contemporary postmodernist philosophy of science. It revolves around 16 core themes in the philosophy of science, breaking the chronological and historical order, transcending the boundaries of individuals and their theories, with each chapter addressing common concerns or fields shared by numerous theorists. 2. Building upon the refinement and rejection of previous thoughts and viewpoints, this work proposes some innovative ideas in the philosophy of science, particularly those related to my doctoral dissertation, such as the "Origin Theory of Science as a Game," the concept of "Scientific Alienation," the "Law of Repeated Recognition," and the theories of "Scientific Fiction and Cybernetic Fiction," among others, all of which possess innovative characteristics. 3. The work is systematic and well-structured, offering a new perspective and research on the overall science from both the perspective of the theory of scientific activity and the theory of scientific schema, establishing a relatively novel image of science.
