Features: This standard was revised in accordance with the requirements of the document "Notice on Issuing the 'Plan for Formulation and Revision of National Engineering Construction Standards for the 2000-2001 Period'" (No. 87, Jian Biao [2001] of the Ministry of Construction) by Shanghai Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. in conjunction with relevant units. During the revision process, the standard drafting group conducted specialized research, carried out extensive and in-depth surveys, summarized years of experience in quality inspection and acceptance of ventilation and air conditioning engineering construction, particularly the practical engineering experience since the implementation of the GB 50243-97 standard. In line with the Ministry of Construction's 16-character principle of "separating inspection and evaluation, strengthening acceptance, improving means, and controlling the process," the original standard was comprehensively revised. During the revision, opinions were widely solicited from relevant units and industry experts across the country through various channels. Major quality indicators were discussed and demonstrated multiple times, and the manuscript was repeatedly revised before being finally approved and finalized. The main contents stipulated by this standard include:
1. The scope of application of this standard;
2. Unified criteria for quality acceptance of ventilation and air conditioning engineering construction;
3. The division of sub-division projects and the included sub-items in the quality acceptance of ventilation and air conditioning engineering construction;
4. According to the characteristics of ventilation and air conditioning engineering construction, this division project is divided into ten specific technical classification items, including duct fabrication, duct component fabrication, duct system installation, ventilation and air conditioning equipment installation, air conditioning refrigeration system installation, air conditioning water system installation, corrosion and insulation, system commissioning, final acceptance, and comprehensive engineering performance testing and adjustment, with specific provisions on the acceptance content, inspection quantity, and inspection methods for each;
5. According to the "Unified Standard for Construction Project Quality" (GB 50300-2001), the quality acceptance records for this division project were improved;
6. To ensure the use effect and completeness of quality acceptance of ventilation and air conditioning engineering, this standard specifies the requirements for comprehensive engineering performance testing and adjustment;
