Features: The national civil service examination has undergone significant reforms, abolishing the existing "Public Basic Knowledge" subject and incorporating its content into "Common Sense Judgment" as part of the "Administrative Professional Ability Test." However, in many local civil service examinations and open recruitment exams for leading positions in Party and government agencies, the 2001 revised and promulgated examination syllabus and designated textbooks by the Ministry of Personnel are still used, with "Public Basic Knowledge" remaining one of the most important compulsory subjects. Through an analysis of candidates' performance in recent years in the civil service examinations for central and national administrative organs, it is widely believed among candidates that the proportion of Public Basic Knowledge has not actually decreased, and in addition, due to the enhanced emphasis on testing the ability to comprehensively apply basic knowledge to analyze and solve problems, the difficulty has generally increased. In response to the requests of candidates, we have compiled this textbook to provide targeted and practical guidance and assistance to help everyone succeed in reviewing and passing the civil service examination for central national administrative organs.
1. This book is divided into three parts: Practical Guidance, Classic Review Plan, and Exam Sprint. The first part, "Practical Guidance," includes the Public Basic Knowledge examination syllabus and interpretation, the structure of the Public Basic Knowledge examination paper and analysis of its questions, and sample questions and answers for the central government examination. The second part covers Marxist Philosophy, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Important Thought of "Three Represents," Law, Administrative Management, Official Documents and Writing, Science and Technology, and Current Affairs and Politics. The third part, "Exam Sprint," provides five sets of mock examination papers and answers for candidates to review and test themselves, hoping to serve as a catalyst for further study.
2. The writing format of the "Classic Review Plan" section is as follows:
(1) Key Point Summary. This section mainly summarizes the content outline and essential knowledge points of each chapter. Careful reading of this part can achieve a comprehensive understanding.
(2) Review and Answering Techniques. This section briefly summarizes and analyzes the question-setters' approach to formulating questions and some key considerations for candidates during the exam.
(3) Analysis of Key and Difficult Points. In accordance with the requirements of the "Civil Service Examination Public Subject Syllabus" promulgated by the Ministry of Personnel, combined with research and analysis of candidates' answers to the "Public Basic Knowledge" subject in recent years, it strives to fully, systematically, accurately, deeply, and clearly explain the specific content of the key and difficult points required by the syllabus. For candidates preparing for the exam, systematically mastering the content of the "Public Basic Knowledge" subject is undoubtedly crucial. Only on this foundation can the integration of knowledge points be achieved. At the same time, it highlights key and difficult points, aiming for concise language, correct perspectives, and clear organization to facilitate candidates' understanding. The analysis of key and difficult points also emphasizes linking theory with practice, helping candidates improve their ability to analyze and solve problems using the theoretical knowledge they have learned, as well as their ability to handle official documents.
(4) Unit Strengthening Training. Based on the number and importance of knowledge points assessed in each unit, this book includes a varying number of mock examination questions after each unit. These mock questions are closely tied to the knowledge points assessed in each unit, enabling candidates to review and consolidate the knowledge they have learned in a timely manner and identify areas for improvement. They can also serve as tools for periodic review.
