Features: In essence, humans are "social beings," and their lives are deeply influenced by the ethnic, racial, and cultural groups they belong to within human society. Only when the constitution is based on this understanding can it more fully reflect human values. This book offers a fresh perspective to recognize and analyze constitutional phenomena in human society. The ideological origins of the constitution are primarily the natural thoughts long familiar to academia, which advocate that everyone is born free and enjoys equal freedom and rights. In the constitutional practice since the constitution's inception, the focus has remained on reflecting the entirety of human social life. The author believes that this theoretical system itself can comprehensively reflect the entirety of human social life. Because humans are essentially "social beings," their lives are deeply influenced by the ethnic, racial, and cultural groups they belong to within human society. Only when the constitution is based on this understanding can it more fully reflect human values. Constitutional anthropology is constructed based on this fresh perspective. This book features new theoretical content and structure. It is divided into two parts: the first part is based on background analysis and theoretical construction from the perspective of ethnic, racial, and cultural groups, including various knowledge and theoretical systems related to ethnic, racial, and cultural groups; the second part is empirical analysis, which provides as comprehensive a summary and analysis as possible of Canada's cultural pluralism and China's ethnic regional autonomy. This book exhibits the characteristics of a new discipline. Contemporary front-line disciplines, marginal disciplines, and interdisciplinary fields are constantly emerging and gaining prominence. This work combines traditional constitutional law with the emerging cultural anthropology, legal anthropology, and philosophical anthropology of the contemporary era. It makes pioneering explorations and attempts to construct a theoretical system of constitutional anthropology that is closely linked to traditional constitutional law while possessing its own independent characteristics.
