It is a powerful theoretical weapon for strengthening and improving the Party's construction, advancing China's socialist self-improvement and development, and is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the Communist Party of China. It is the guiding principle that the Party must adhere to in the long term. This book is a textbook written for undergraduate students of higher education institutions to study the course "Introduction to Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Important Thought of 'Three Represents'." With the support of the Teaching Material Construction Committee of Peking University, this textbook was selected for the Beijing Higher Education Excellence Textbook Construction Project in 2003. The writing of this textbook incorporates many achievements in the research on Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Important Thought of "Three Represents" in academia.
