Features: With the continuous development of China's socialist market economy, the production and operation scale, business scope, and operational regions of many enterprises will gradually, or even rapidly, expand. Enterprises engaging in cross-industry, cross-regional, or even cross-border operations will continue to emerge. The organizational structure, rights, responsibilities, and interests relationships, as well as the accounting objects and internal control content of these enterprises, will become increasingly complex and dynamic. The management requirements and quality standards for accounting work and accounting information will make it not only possible but also highly necessary for enterprises to design their own accounting systems. Whether now or in the future, enterprises will benefit from designing distinctive accounting systems based on accounting standards, production and operation characteristics, and management requirements, which will help ensure the fulfillment of entrusted responsibilities, promptly identify, correct, and prevent errors and frauds, protect the safety and integrity of enterprise assets, and ensure the implementation of relevant laws, regulations, and rules.
This book is divided into four parts and nine chapters. It is based on the author's lectures on the course of accounting system design, combined with some research, and summarized from the author's experience in designing accounting systems for multiple enterprises. Its main features are:
⑴ Integrating the practical operation content of accounting system design into the theoretical system of enterprise accounting system design. After systematically elaborating on the theory of accounting system design, it introduces the specific content, procedures, methods, and key points of accounting system design.
⑵ Each chapter selects some practical cases for illustration, making the content vivid and concrete.
⑶ The last two chapters each include one or two typical cases for comment, aiming to inspire students' open-minded thinking and consolidate and improve their practical operational skills.
During the writing process, the author has referenced and absorbed the research findings of many domestic and international experts and scholars, as well as the practical experience of accounting practitioners from some enterprises.
