FLTRP proudly launches the "College English" series textbooks at the beginning of the new century, contributing to the advancement of college English education in China. The entire series is co-authored by experienced professors and English teaching experts from renowned institutions such as Fudan University, Peking University, East China Normal University, University of Science and Technology of China, South China University of Technology, Nanjing University, Wuhan University, Nankai University, Sun Yat-sen University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The series consists of four types of textbooks: Comprehensive, Listening & Speaking, Reading (divided into General and Advanced versions), and Fast Reading, along with a Grammar Handbook and Teacher's Book.
The "Reading Course (General Version)" aims to provide students with systematic and diverse reading materials, helping them develop proficiency in reading skills, accurate comprehension of passages, broaden their knowledge and cultural horizons, and enhance their reading comprehension and appreciation. The course is divided into six volumes, each containing 8 units, with a total of 24 articles. After each passage, three or four types of exercises are used to improve students' analytical and summarizing abilities. Each volume includes a master vocabulary list at the end for students to refer to and memorize.
