In 1990, he was featured in the journal Chinese Painting. In 1991, Hong Kong Daye Company published his book Jiang Hongwei's Bird-and-Flower Paintings. In 1992, he held the "Jiang Hongwei Bird-and-Flower Painting Exhibition" at the Hong Kong Seibu Gallery and the "Jiang Hongwei Gongbi Bird-and-Flower Painting Exhibition" at the Taipei Panlong Art Center." All of this reflects Jiang Hongwei's attitude toward art—his indifference to success or failure, his calm and contented mindset, and his disregard for fashion trends. Yet year after year, I see his bird-and-flower paintings improve, and his dedication to painting never wavers. Perhaps in this regard, his art is constantly approaching simplicity and eternity.
