Features: The "Medical Physics" textbook for higher education in traditional Chinese medicine colleges in the new century is compiled in accordance with the spirit of the Ministry of Education's "Opinions on the Construction and Reform of General Higher Education Textbooks During the 10th Five-Year Plan Period," under the guidance of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and organized by the National Association of Higher Education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This textbook is based on the "Medical Physics" unified textbook for higher medical colleges published in 1984, summarizing the experience of teaching and textbook reform in higher traditional Chinese medicine colleges over the past two decades. It references the latest editions of similar textbooks in science and engineering, medicine, and other fields, primarily intended for undergraduate and associate degree students in medical and related disciplines of higher traditional Chinese medicine colleges. During the compilation process, attention was paid to selecting high-quality materials, strengthening the foundation, serving the profession, reflecting the latest developments in the discipline, and emphasizing scientific rigor, systematicity, advancement, practicality, standardization, and normalization. The goal was to ensure accurate concepts, clear organization, fluent language, ease of teaching for instructors, and ease of learning for students. To this end, teaching objectives are provided at the beginning of each chapter, summaries and exercises are included at the end of each chapter, key formulas requiring emphasis and memorization are highlighted in boxes, and important physical terms with definitions are annotated in English. An appendix is appended at the end, with small print reading materials marked with an asterisk () before the titles to expand students' knowledge. To accommodate students who have not studied advanced mathematics, calculus content has been added to the appendix. The physical quantities, units, and symbols in this book adopt the International System of Units and China's national standards.
