Features: In the process of learning and implementing the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we combined the major strategic task of building a harmonious socialist society and conducted theoretical study and research in connection with practical realities. At the same time, experts and scholars from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the National School of Administration, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Research Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and Beijing University of Science and Technology were organized to study the issue of building a harmonious socialist society in several thematic sessions, forming over 300,000 words of preliminary research results. On this basis, to facilitate extensive exchanges and discussions and deepen the study of building a harmonious socialist society, we selected relevant parts to compile this book. Building a harmonious socialist society is a brand-new topic that requires us to continuously innovate and develop. This is merely the beginning of our research. Due to the limitations of our study and understanding, coupled with the urgency of time, especially since this book is a thematic research outcome, there are still imperfections in its content and system. Mistakes are inevitable, and we sincerely ask for the readers' understanding and corrections.
