Features: Chinese painting art has a long history and is closely linked to our civilization. Since Gu Kaizhi in the Jin Dynasty, over a thousand years have passed, with various schools and renowned artists emerging. The modern section features artists such as Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong, Pan Tianshou, and Zhou Sichen, totaling over 30 individuals, each also having their own volume, edited by Lang Shaojun and Zhang Zhixin. This book is published in large 32-page hardcover, with color printing on copper paper, including biographies, artistic careers, painting styles, discussions on art, critiques from various scholars, chronologies, and catalogs of masterpieces. It also includes numerous photographs of the painters' lives and work, as well as nearly 200 of their paintings. The book is rich in detailed information and illustrations, offering both high academic value and readability. It is an invaluable historical reference for experts and scholars studying Chinese painters, and particularly for young people and art enthusiasts seeking to understand Chinese painting art. (The specialized volumes on Li Liufang, Cheng Mengyang, Mei Qing, Chen Banding, and Tao Lengyue, among others, are significant contributions to filling gaps in art history.)
