The Judicial Examination largely revolves around case studies. Beyond the basic question types in the fourth exam paper being narrow case questions, most single-choice, multiple-choice, and uncertain-choice questions in the other three exam papers also fall under the category of case questions. Currently, nearly all supplementary materials are either purely theoretical explanations or interspersed with occasional illustrative cases. A lack of appropriate and abundant case studies in theoretical explanations can easily make the material feel dry and hinder candidates' practical skills improvement.
In light of this, we collaborated with Li Shichun of China Legal Publishing House to develop the National Judicial Examination Case Study Series. The series consists of four volumes: Civil and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Procedural Law, and Economic, Administrative, and International Law. Organized according to the chapters of the National Judicial Examination syllabus, the series categorizes frequently tested key points and analyzes them through case studies. During problem-solving, it strives to provide logical reasoning frameworks in the form of charts and tables to achieve the effect of learning from examples. Additionally, it elaborates on important considerations for each key point.
Thus, the features of this series are:
1. Using specific cases to explain specific key points;
2. Employing detailed analysis to clarify specific cases;
3. Expanding knowledge gaps with relevant information;
4. Integrating specific knowledge blocks into an organic and comprehensive judicial examination knowledge system.
The authors of this series are all highly trained law PhDs with long-term research on the judicial examination and extensive or multiple years of participation in exam tutoring. They come from Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, and Peking University. Their deep expertise in their respective fields ensures the professionalism and precision of the series, while their rich experience in exam tutoring guarantees its relevance to the actual examination.
