Features: Project procurement management is an important component of project management. The procurement expenditure of a project generally accounts for 50-60% of the project investment, highlighting the significant role of project procurement management in the overall project management. Compared to other fields, project procurement management has its own uniqueness. It can be a relatively independent discipline while also encompassing content from other knowledge areas. For example, the entire process of procuring a new project, from developing the procurement plan to the completion of the project implementation, falls within the scope of project procurement management. At the same time, this process involves almost all other knowledge areas. Therefore, modern project management has given project procurement management a more comprehensive concept. The term "procurement" referred to here is not merely the traditional sense of "purchasing goods and commodities," but rather a broader scope. The World Bank categorizes project procurement into engineering procurement, goods procurement, and consulting services procurement, a classification that aligns with the categorization of project procurement in the "Government Procurement Law of the People's Republic of China." Additionally, this book provides detailed discussions on the procurement of information technology projects, government procurement, international project procurement, and contract management during the procurement process. This book is suitable for researchers and practitioners in the field of project procurement management, as well as serving as a textbook and reference material for relevant majors in universities, vocational colleges, and higher vocational colleges.
