Features: "The Massage Textbook for the Blind" was compiled under the organization and leadership of the Blind Employment Guidance Center of the China Disabled Persons' Federation for blind undergraduate education. This series of textbooks consists of 6 volumes: "Fundamentals of Massage," "Tactile Diagnosis," "Orthopedic Massage," "Internal Medicine Massage," "Gynecology Massage," and "Pediatrics Massage." Based on the characteristics of the blind, this series emphasizes the special role of tactile diagnosis in massage for the blind. In addition to "Tactile Diagnosis," tactile diagnosis content is also highlighted in other volumes. "Orthopedic Massage" is an important component of the discipline of Chinese medicine massage, a subject that studies injury-related diseases of the skin, muscles, tendons, bones, qi, blood, and meridians. The book consists of 12 chapters. Chapters 1-3 are the general introduction, mainly outlining the history of orthopedics, classification of injuries, etiology, and pathogenesis. Chapters 3-12 focus on orthopedic injuries. Chapter 3 is an introduction to orthopedic injuries, which mainly introduces the concept of orthopedic injuries, etiology, pathology, clinical manifestations, and principles of diagnosis and treatment, laying a foundation for the various orthopedic conditions. Chapters 4-12 mainly describe the diagnosis and massage treatment of over 50 common clinical orthopedic diseases. Due to the addition of "Tactile Diagnosis" to the entire series to reduce repetition, this book has omitted chapters on syndrome differentiation diagnosis. According to the characteristics of blind massage, the editorial board has decided to reduce the content on bone and joint dislocations after discussion.
