Features: "Research on Strategies for Promoting Mandarin in the New Era" is a national research project under the Language and Character Application Plan of the 15th Five-Year Plan, which we participated in (Project No.: YB105—10B). After the project was approved, it was officially launched on December 24, 2002, and we have completed the main achievement of the project as planned—a 240,000-word monograph titled "Research on Strategies for Promoting Mandarin in the New Era." The "Collection of Documents on Promoting Mandarin" and the attached "Chronicle" are by-products of this project.
