Features: Based on thorough research, this study analyzes the current status of private economic development in Beijing, as well as the issues in financing and investment. Drawing on the successful experiences of market economy countries and coastal provinces in resolving financing and investment challenges for the private sector, and combining with Beijing's future economic development, particularly the 2008 Olympic Games, it preliminarily proposes policy recommendations for solving financing and investment problems for the private sector. The study is highly theoretical and practical. Additionally, the book includes a recent research paper by Researcher Ju Jinwen on the private economy, a research paper by Guo Quanliang, a Ph.D. student at the School of Economics, Peking University, on private family enterprises, and a research paper by Wang Zhuang from the SME Department of the Beijing Development and Reform Commission on credit guarantee for small and medium-sized enterprises. These contributions enhance the theoretical level of the book and further enrich its content.
