The Analects

Author: Beijing Siha Children's Classic Reading Education Center

Publish Date: 2005-01-01
Features: As the ancients said, "Half of the Analects can govern the world." Today, with the United Nations coordinating relations among nations, the famous quote from the Analects, "All under heaven are brothers," is hung in the UN headquarters, demonstrating that this saying remains effective even now, and is still relevant for governing the world. If this is the case for governing the world, then it is also so for governing a country, a province, a county, a town, a village, a factory, a school, an institution, and a family. It is also the same for governing an individual's body and mind. Thus, it is evident that the Analects is a book that cannot be ignored. The Analects is a classic of Chinese Confucianism, recording the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples from over two and a half thousand years ago. You can start reading from anywhere, and this is the wonder of our Analects. Those who are fortunate enough to read such a wonderful book and discover such wonder in it are truly blessed.
