Features: The book is divided into four parts: "Before Establishment of Diplomatic Relations," which mainly recalls the ten-year tortuous process from the easing of relations between China and South Korea to the establishment of diplomatic ties; "Six Years in Seoul," which records the work and life of the first Chinese Ambassador to South Korea during his tenure in Seoul; "Sketches of South Korea," which are writings inspired by our time in South Korea and after returning home, mostly consisting of anecdotes, descriptions of landscapes, and recollections of people in South Korea; "Reflections on the Past and Present" is an appendix, with miscellaneous content including personal insights on life from childhood to adulthood, thoughts on family and friends, and gratitude towards teachers, not limited to South Korea. Of course, all of these are merely personal feelings, even those related to South Korea. Of course, these personal reflections, even if they pertain to South Korea, do not provide a comprehensive introduction to the country, nor do they offer a review of the development of China-South Korea relations.
