Features: Acupotomy medicine, founded by Professor Zhu Han Zhang of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has a 20-year history. Under the guidance of acupotomy medicine theory, through clinical practice by over 100,000 medical workers nationwide, the theory of acupotomy medicine has been continuously improved, and the diagnosis and treatment techniques have been increasingly standardized and systematized. So far, this new medical discipline of acupotomy medicine has basically matured. To enable students of ordinary higher medical colleges to learn and master this new theory, and to improve their clinical practice skills, the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine took the lead, using the book "Principles of Acupotomy Medicine" written by Zhu Han Zhang as the blueprint. An editorial board composed of more than 50 renowned experts from 27 higher medical colleges was organized to compile this textbook. This textbook can be used for teaching in TCM higher medical colleges and can also be used for teaching in Western medicine higher medical colleges to open and adjust this course. Because acupotomy medicine is a new discipline that integrates some basic theories of both TCM and Western medicine and then innovates, it has both the theoretical connotation of TCM and the diagnostic and treatment standards of Western medicine, which provides great help for students to learn and master new medical skills and open up new medical perspectives.
