Features: Zhong Lianquan and Lü Dongbin are revered as the founders of the Quanzhen (Dandeng) sect of Taoism. The Spiritual Treasure Complete Method and The Zhong-Lü Transmission of the Way are the most representative classics of this sect. The classics of various branches and schools of later Dandao are derived from these foundational works. They incorporate Confucian and Buddhist thought, systematically elaborating on the theory and methods of the entire process of Dandao, and laying the theoretical foundation for the Dandeng sect.
