Features: "Ruyu Youyue" (Ruyu's Appointment) is a young program on Phoenix TV's Central Culture Channel. Of course, it was launched five years after Phoenix TV's debut, and the station had accumulated significant resources by then, providing the program with nourishment far beyond what a new program would receive upon launch. Perhaps it can be as follows: it is a sturdy infant born to a relatively mature mother. Although the program is quite young, it interviews "veteran" celebrities: Mao Amin, Zhu Zedong, Yang Yuying, Cheng Lin, Wang Guozhen, Ma Shengli, Zhang Hanzhi—each name is well-known, they have had remarkable histories, and they are still remembered by many. It is precisely because of this that the program garnered immense response upon its launch. Whenever "Ruyu Youyue" airs, many viewers eagerly gather in front of their television screens, reminiscing, reflecting, sharing knowing smiles, and even shedding tears alongside the people on screen.
